About Azrael's Accomplice and AZAC Designs

Azrael's Accomplice and AZAC Designs (that's pronounced like the letters A-Z-A-C, it's a abbreviation aka A.Z.A.C NOT the word azac) are two labels owned by designer Tracy Robertson, also sometimes called her nickname Batty. Tracy has been creating clothing for over 10 years. She specializes in corsetry, pattern making, couture, and historical influenced fashion. In addition to both fashion and costume design experience she also has a great eye for style and the business of fashion due to the fact she once modeled herself as well as doing theater and performance art.

The Azrael's Accomplice line started out as a gothic clothing line, and still keeps that as it's main influence but wants to bring gothic clothing up to the level of more high fashion couture, not just underground fashion. Currently Azrael's Accomplice offers high end couture fantasy gowns as well as corsets and some ready to wear and clubwear styles.

The AZAC label was started when the designer (that would be me) decided that she didn't want to be boxed into one small clothing niche. She wanted to expand her line into the realms of high fashion not just gothic inspired pieces. The AZAC label offers lovely wedding gowns, cocktail dresses, evening and prom wear, as well as some fashion corsetry. The AZAC line is geared toward the socialite, the avant garde collector, and fans of high end and couture fashion.

Both lines are inspired by glam, fantasy, the 18th century, historical fashion, asian fashion and art, jrock/visual rock, gothic style, european couture, etc.

The designer likes her clothing to tell a story, paint a picture, or express a mood. Clothing is not just something that hangs on a rack, sits in a closet, or something worn only to cover you up, to AZAC and Azrael's Accomplice Designs it's a work of art as important as any other art form. Something that makes you feel magical and beautiful when you put it on. That's the mission, to inspire and create things with emotion and beauty.
